Restaurant “RAUTU“

Rautu - is a family restaurant located in the center of Sosnovo. The name comes from the historical Finnish name of the area.
When developing the concept, our goal was to give the restaurant a new identity while preserving its connection to nature and the historical context of the place.
The interior is built around four key materials, each bringing its own character to the space: natural stone adds a sense of rawness and authenticity, textured wood brings warmth and tactility, light-colored textiles create a feeling of airiness, while metal details reference modern technology and create a contrast with the traditional natural surfaces.
The main focal points of the restaurant are the high bar, DJ booth, and wine cabinet compositions — expressive elements that shape the character of the space and serve as its visual anchors.
