Sense is a hotel project currently under construction in Bali. One of its key features is the variety of room types, each offering guests a different stay experience and its own unique atmosphere.
For the interiors, we wanted to preserve a connection to Bali’s traditional culture while creating a contemporary, technologically advanced, and highly functional space. The concept is therefore based on a combination of natural materials with modern details and architectural solutions.
Concrete and wood form the foundation of the interiors. Against this neutral backdrop, elements that evoke Bali come to life: ethnic motifs, distinctive objects, natural textures, and soft sunset-inspired lighting that unfolds through the evening lighting scenarios.
Ethnic accents are expressed primarily through the interior objects, as if they were crafted by local artisans. The tactile quality of the interiors is built around four key materials: natural stone, wood, woven textiles, and concrete.
Individual furniture pieces almost function as art objects. Armchairs, lighting fixtures, and accent elements become signature points within the interiors, reflecting the core idea of the project — a balance of simplicity, ethnic character, and naturalness.
